The Golf Shoe and Golf Glove Consumer Attitudes & Usage studies were both
conducted in late August through the middle of September and measure the
responses of over 2000 serious golfers per study.
Results Highlights - Shoe Survey
- Two thousand and twenty serious golfers interviewed
- 89% men and 11% women averaging over 64 rounds per year with a mean age of 46.3 and an average handicap of 15
- The average Serious Golfer currently owns about three pairs of golf shoes.
- Comfort and fit are the most important attributes of a new golf shoe.
- Most Serious Golfers consider golf shoes as part of their golf equipment and not just a "fashion statement"

- 84% of serious golfers wear a golf glove when playing
- Serious golfers go through 5.7 gloves during the course of a golf season and own 3.6 usable gloves at any given point
